Sterile Processing Equipment Technician

• Job Summary
  • The Equipment Technician is an entry level position to allow for individual growth in the organization. The Equipment Technician provides support to Sterile Processing Technicians by facilitating supply flow and instrumentation availability for surgical procedures. Ensures that procedural case carts are filled promptly, accurately and 100% complete. Maintains case cart inventory area and assists in the coordination and delivery of instrumentation and equipment to surgical services and the facility.
• Education
  • High School graduate or equivalent and up to 6 months of job related experience preferred.
• Experience
  • Hospital or service industry experience preferred. Willingness to learn and be a high energy team player, organized and detail oriented.
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • The Equipment Technician is expected to progress toward achieving Sterile Processing Tech I status as evidenced by attaining Sterile Processing Technician Certification within one year from date of hire.
