• Job Summary
  • THE SPECIALTY CARE SERVICES STAFF NURSE is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Patients/families in his/her area.
• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    •  
  • Associate degree or diploma at least one year of recent nursing experience required, preferably in pediatrics, preferably in outpatient setting.
  • OR
  • BSN or MSN a minimum of 6 months experience preferred, preferably in pediatrics, preferably in outpatient setting
• Experience
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • Current RN License in the State of Alabama
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current PALS Certification required

Additional Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of oral and craniofacial abnormalities. Conditions treated include: facial trauma, bone grafts, dental implants and extractions, impacted teeth and wisdom teeth, oral lesions, cysts and tumors, management of facial asymmetries or deformities, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder, sleep apnea. 
Outpatient services such as dental extractions, including removal of wisdom teeth, frenectomy, biopsy and other procedures are done using moderate sedation.
