Coordinator Nursing ECMO

• Job Summary
  • The coordinator is a professional nurse who is an expert in the care of the ECMO patient population. The coordinator assumes a leadership role and supervisory responsibilities in the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the ECMO program within Children’s of Alabama.
• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience
  • BSN degree with at least four years of recent clinical nursing experience specific to ECMO, preferably in pediatrics
  • OR
  • MSN degree with at least three years of recent clinical nursing experience specific to ECMO, preferably in pediatrics
  •  
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • Current RN License in the State of Alabama
  • Current BLS/ PALS certification
