  •  Job Summary
    • The system’s analyst is responsible for system design, detail specification development, implementation and maintenance of various systems, used within the laboratory. Serves as functional expert in specialized areas of installed and anticipated systems and applications. This person acts as direct liaison with user, technical support and operations personnel and provides technical and administrative support to the Laboratory staff and Pathology. This person will act independently under general direction and will be responsible for a variety of project roles.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • MT (ASCP or equivalent registry) or bachelors in information technology, health care or related field and two years experience with information systems or clinical department in hospital or healthcare system with high level of automation

      OR

      MLT (ASCP or equivalent registry) or associate degree in information technology or health care field and four years of progressively responsible experience with information technology in hospital or healthcare system with high level of automation.

      OR

      High school diploma or GED equivalent and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or a clinical department in hospital or health care system with high level of automation.
