  • Job Summary
    • Responsible for the coordination and support of the performance improvement program of Children’s of Alabama. Coordinates and facilitates all performance improvement teams for Children’s of Alabama, consults and educates teams and staff on performance improvement tools and methodologies, advises teams on appropriate data collection methodology and works with PI to set up appropriate database and reports, conducts and monitors results from root cause analyses and failure mode and effects analyses, researches appropriate literature for benchmarking, provides facilitation for the Performance Improvement Council and other performance improvement committees, develops performance improvement reports for administration, and conducts medical chart reviews for PI data collection as necessary.
  • Education
    • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Related Field Required.
    • Masters Degree in Heathcare Related Field Preferred
  • Experience
    • 2+ years experience in business or healthcare related setting. Specific knowledge of current concepts (root cause analysis, failure mode effect analysis) and experience related to healthcare quality, safety and data analysis is required.
