Lead Nurse OR

• Job Summary
  • The Lead Nurse OR 02 is a professional nurse who demonstrates a high level of competence in decision-making in the process of assessing, organizing, planning, implementation of various levels of care in the operative areas. Demonstrates effective leadership characteristics and ability to maintain effective patient flow. Responsible for team leader duties in their absence and staffing the staging area.
• Education
  • BSN Preferred, not required
• Experience
  • 3 years of OR Nursing experience; pediatrics preferred

    Expert knowledge of AORN and the Joint Commission Standards and Recommended Practices

• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • RN license required. CNOR preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
