The Development Operations Digital Coordinator will be responsible for initiating, developing and executing online and mobile fundraising strategies to raise awareness and funds for the mission of Children's of Alabama. The position of the Development Operations Digital Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing multiple digital fundraising campaigns, managing online giving revenue and donor engagement, and working with Foundation team to plan digital campaigns to advance the Hospital's message and foster collaborations between non-profit partners, corporate entities, grateful patient families and other community partners.

The Development Operations Digital Coordinator is responsible for digital fundraising, email communications, the management of digital lists and processing of online gifts. The Coordinator will work closely with the Foundation’s fundraising teams and Strategic Communications to help ensure the timely, effective and appropriate use of technology to further the Foundation’s goals. The Coordinator must be a strategic thinker and a team player with the ability work independently to use and analyze data to improve our digital presence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Development Operations Digital Coordinator is responsible for management of all digital resources. With this expertise, the Coordinator will represent Operations with key staff in strategizing all digital goals of online giving and mobile fundraising and other technology as available, appropriate or required. The position will be responsible for implementation, tracking & analyzation, reporting, management of digital donations and other responsibilities resulting from digital fundraising and communication campaigns and activities. This position will manage all digital lists, and multiple project timelines for email and digital fundraising campaigns and activities. Responsibilities include:

Manages performance of digital and mobile campaigns including key performance indicators, regularly identifying new and innovative ways to broaden and advance the technology and resources available for digital communications and provide insights to increase performance in the future.

Creates and maintains event, conference and other online registration, donation and survey pages as appropriate, tracking and managing accurate and secure information of donations, attendees, and other lists as requested.

Manages Foundation mobile giving programs, including but not limited to Blackbaud Mobile Pay mobile device card readers and Snowball (Text2Give text donation software).

Lead Foundation efforts for the Digital Communications team as well as providing technical support and contributing to the broader Foundation annual goals.

Cross-trains on additional Operations procedures.

Serve as a collaborative member of the Operations team helping with data entry and general tasks of gift management as needed.

Maintains accuracy and integrity of all Foundation data across all platforms with proper gift processing procedures for all digital/mobile donation entry.

Manages digital constituent contact lists ensuring accuracy across all platforms

Build and execute digital strategies with successful deployment of digital communications, including but not limited to segmentation, A/B testing, targeted groups, and creative and current auto response messaging.

Works closely with Manager in development and implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement in Operations and assists with various requests by Foundation staff.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience

3-5 years of experience in Development and Donor Management Software/Platforms required

Digital communication background preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient in cloud based CRM systems such as Luminate Online

Proficient in Blackbaud products (NXT)

Knowledge of communication and fundraising on digital platforms

Some knowledge of HTML preferred

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Highly organized, thorough and detail-oriented

Ability to proactively recognize needs, balance multiple projects, manage daily workload, and prioritize tasks

Enjoys behind-the-scenes work in support of a great cause

Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once

Ability to work independently

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be able to work flexible hours. Some evenings and weekends and occasional travel
