Physician Asst Behavioral Health ED

• Job Summary
  • Behavioral Health Physician’s Assistant is responsible for the provision and management of patient care in a Behavioral Health Area/Setting for the pediatric population. The PA will perform Mental Health Assessments, Physical Assessments, consultations, history/physicals and routine management of patients within any Behavioral Health Clinical Setting.
• Education
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Experience
  • 1-3 years experience preferred. Mental Health Specialty Focus Preferred.
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; also, required PA License through the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners; Must obtain CPR and Advanced Life Support Certification within 90 days of employment.
