Network Engineer III

• Job Summary
  • Responsible for assisting the Manager of Network Services in the analysis, design, installation, management and support of all complex wide-area networks installed at Children’s of Alabama.
• Education
  • Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or related field required or a valid combination of education/experience/certification in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Experience
  • 4 years experience with Personal Computers in a networked environment.
  • 4 years experience in server-based architecture including network operating systems and servers.
  • 6 years experience in network-based hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
  • A+, Server+ or Network+ Certification preferred. MCSE or CCNA certification preferred
