Development Officer - Children's of Alabama Foundation

• Development Officer is responsible for generating leadership gift support from private sources to support the mission and vision of Children's of Alabama. This position reports to the Director of Development and will function as an integral part of the development team whose responsibilities include managing charitable support for Children’s of Alabama.

• Develop and execute fundraising strategy for increasing leadership gift support from private sources
  Exceed established metrics for dollar and visit goals as determined on an annual basis
  Effectively collaborate with colleagues on Foundation team and other departments at Children’s
  Schedule and hold face-to-face meetings with assigned portfolio to achieve set fundraising goals
  Identify and cultivate potential donors or prospects individual as part of annual strategy and goals
  Create and execute compelling stewardship plans for major gift support for development team

• Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of fundraising experience, healthcare setting preferred
•  

• A minimum of 5-7 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting; and a proven and verifiable track record of growing individual and major gift support.

• CFRE Preferred
