The Community Development Coordinator – Peer-to-Peer will be responsible for meeting fundraising goals and managing a portfolio of donors for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) peer-to-peer programs, collegiate and high school relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital, gaming, and social media fundraising; streaming experience is a big plus. This person must have experience navigating gaming community platforms to activate events and succeed in this role.

Job Summary
•    Building and maintaining a strong network of donors and potential donors within the gaming community, utilizing a variety of approaches
•    Coordinating and managing a network of fundraisers for Extra Life and Dance Marathon campaigns, proactively identifying key areas of opportunity in engagement strategies and executing against them.
•    Building and stewarding relationships to galvanize the gaming community locally as well as nationally 
•    Creating and implementing an annual program strategy, collaborating with relevant parties to coordinate schedules and program logistics
•    Communicating with partner location liaisons in person, and via text, email, and phone
•    Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Campaign support in various parts of Children’s of Alabama territory when needed 
•    Responsible for the Children’s of Alabama/CMNH National Blog: writing and creating blog posts in conjunction with partner campaigns
•    May serve as a liaison with external vendors to coordinate activities and materials
•    Assisting with hospital and/or partner events
•    Creating, overseeing, and monitoring the budget associated with the programs
•    Managing relevant database inputs, gift processing, maintenance, and data reconciliations
•    Providing guidance and training to Operations on how to handle large online gifts thru Programs and how they fit into the overall structure of the Foundation
•    Attend the Annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference, striving to be considered an expert with the goal of being a presenter at DMLC

•    This position will be focused on all collegiate partners and Extra Life – this position will be determined based on the candidate’s location within Alabama, with the budget focused on traveling to all territories where there are partner colleges, chapters, and groups

Bachelor’s degree with a course in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, family and human development or related fields.

•    1-3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, special event management, business development, peer-to-peer fundraising, marketing, annual fund leadership, and membership or alumni management experience
•    Marketing and brand development experience preferred
•    Proven ability to manage and execute corporate partnerships and special events in a non-profit setting
•    A solid understanding of the business value of philanthropy, including the advancement of nonprofit causes and missions, while also delivering strong value to corporate and special event partners
•    Demonstrated success in corporate/business development and success with development solicitation
•    Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and daily access to a vehicle
