Job Summary

The Development Operations Financial Analyst works with the entire Foundation staff to provide support by processing all check requisitions, GHX coding, expenses and reconciliation. Additionally, they will work on collaborative projects with all teams in the department.

The individual in this role must have high level technical skills and time management skills, as well as be an independent worker who takes ownership of the projects assigned. They must be able to perform a wide variety responsibilities and special projects while maintaining consistent attention to detail, becoming proficient in all necessary software programs and functions, and communicating in a professional and timely fashion with team members, customers and internal departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains accuracy and integrity of Foundation data and assists in assurance of proper coding of all expenses in database, as well reconciliation of purchase card expenses for Executives/Management.
  • Assists as needed with occasional data entry and general tasks of gift management.
  • Reconciles Foundation financials and creates balanced spreadsheet of all income for Accounting. Runs/sends monthly reconciliation reports.
  • Facilitates fund transfers from Foundation accounts to Hospital Funds.
  • Processes all check requisitions & payment forms (New Vendor/ACH/W-9).
  • Codes all requests in GHX and serves as the point of contact for all Foundation staff regarding vendor payment status.  
  • Assists with donor financial requests including (but not limited to) Annual Statements & replacement receipts.
  • Serves as the backup expert for AuctionMaestroPro for events with auctions.
  • Cross-trains on additional Operations software: Luminate, Snowball, BBMS, IATS, ThankView
  • Assists manager in Office Management activities: Inventory office & kitchen supplies. Place orders when needed.
  • Assists with requests and projects by Foundation staff. Additional project management may include (but is not limited to) Reporting, Tracking and Documentation for various initiatives.
  • Works closely with Manager on implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement in Operations.


Bachelors Degree or relative work experience


3-5 years of Development experience
