Job Summary
  • Responsible for coordinating and developing communications and promotional activity for the Pediatric Practice Solutions (PPS) practices. This includes but is not limited to promoting new physicians who join the practices, helping to coordinate and promote milestones and achievements, and acting as the liaison between the practices and the corporate communications and marketing team. Duties include assisting practice managers and physicians with project requests, attending monthly PPS managers’ meetings, updating them on marketing activities and current projects, and keeping the practices informed when hospital activities could possibly be replicated at the practices. Responsibilities also include aiding the Physician Marketing Manager with educational programs, activities, and other opportunities to support our physician partners and medical divisions/programs within the Russell Campus, and the referring physician communities across Alabama and the Southeast. Duties include but are not limited to planning, development, and dissemination of communications tactics used to promote our services and new physicians, assistance in planning conferences and events held on our campus, and conferences in which Children’s is a sponsor/exhibitor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • One or more years communications/marketing experience preferred, preferably in healthcare marketing and communications.
